Ohala Kenya runs a holistic business training and development program that nurtures growth oriented, blue economy enterprises in the Lake region.
Based in Kisumu, Ohala Kenya provides comprehensive business training and tailored technical support to growth-oriented enterprises within the Lake Region’s blue economy. The program equips entrepreneurs with the essential skills needed to start, manage, and scale successful businesses. The program is tailored to enterprises at different stages—ranging from early-stage startups to established businesses seeking expansion.
The cohort-based program offers practical, resource-rich content delivered over several weeks. Participants engage in interactive learning experiences, including hands-on activities, excursions and strategic growth planning, to strengthen their business acumen and leadership skills.
SELECTION PROCESS
The Ohala Program is not intended for individuals engaged in subsistence-level income-generating activities. Instead, it is designed for ambitious business owners and managers who demonstrate commitment, growth potential, and a drive to create meaningful economic and social impact. Participants are selected through a rigorous process to ensure a diverse and representative group of promising young men and women.
